Eastshore Solo & Ensemble Registration Window Open!

The following is a copy of an email sent November 27th, 2017

Greetings Eastshore colleagues,

This year our Eastshore Solo and Ensemble Regional Contest will be hosted by Interlake High School at Bellevue College on January 20, 2018. This email serves as an introductory overview of this event, and official announcement that the registration window for solo and ensemble entries is now open. While you are invited to begin submitting student applications, your access to the registration site will close on January 5, 2018, so please make sure you have fully completed all entries by that date. Really important: per WIAA state contest rules, if you miss that January 5 deadline, we are allowed to try to accommodate your requests on a space available basis, but those late entries will be coded “not eligible for state.”

New this year, the website hosting our Eastshore solo and ensemble registration is OpusEvent. You will need to register an OpusEvent teacher account to access the student registration. Attached to this email is a tutorial that will guide you with step-by-step instructions for accessing the site, creating a new account, and registering student entries.

Also attached to this email is the 2018 State Solo and Ensemble Contest Rules document and student registration worksheets that you may edit and modify as needed. These worksheets are for you to use as an information gathering tool; all registration will happen online through the OpusEvent registration system.
